Software Support Specialist I – Mod Med

Location: Boca Raton, FL (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

Mod Med is hiring a driven Software Support Specialist I to join our Client Services team, providing best‑in‑class software support to our EMR users. This hybrid role is based in our Boca Raton office.

• Deliver an exceptional client experience by identifying and documenting client needs and issues, answering inquiries, applying problem‑solving techniques, educating clients, and following issues through to resolution.
• Be assigned to either the Clinical or Practice Management Support team after training.
• Provide consistent, professional, high‑quality support to our client base.
• Establish procedures that ensure client satisfaction and quality service delivery.
• Collaborate across teams and departments to resolve issues.
• Replicate and document issues for escalation.

• 1–2 years of related experience.
• Handle 25+ inbound calls per day.
• Must be able to work onsite at our Boca Raton HQ 3 days per week.
• Demonstrated expertise evaluating, troubleshooting, and following up on customer software application issues.
• Experience with in a medical practice and/or EMR experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Apple platforms:
  Mac, iPad, iPhone.
• Familiarity with bug‑tracking software such as Zen and Jira.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
