EY is seeking a Data Architecture Manager with strong understanding of data and technology within the Life Sciences (Clinical (R&D) and Commercial) sector, complemented by a solid track record of delivery. The role involves spearheading the design, development, and governance of clients’ data architectures, ensuring scalable, effective, and secure data solutions that align with business objectives and support data imperatives.

• Design and build scalable solutions for life sciences clients that unify, enrich, and derive insights from varied data sources across a broad technology landscape.
• Lead workshops and design sessions with stakeholders, capturing requirements, use cases, and aligning on data architecture strategies.
• Provide technical guidance and support to ensure data science solutions are properly engineered and maintained.
• Manage and deliver projects, ensuring quality and effective risk management while driving continuous process improvement.
• Apply expertise to guide others and recommend quality solutions for internal and external challenges.

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define data requirements, design solutions, and implement data strategies.
• Design, build, and implement solutions on AWS, Databricks, Snowflake.
• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Conduct data design reviews, build blueprints for data extraction and basic transformations.
• Participate in presentations and proposals for highly complex projects.
• Technical skills:
  SaaS integration, cloud architecture, data platform modernization, data integration best practices.
• Experience in enterprise‑grade solution implementations, BI, data analytics databases.
• Knowledge of big‑data architectural patterns (Lambda, Kappa), performance benchmarking, data security (at rest and in transit).

• Bachelor’s degree and 10‑15 years of full‑time experience in Data Architecture/Engineering.
• 2‑4 years of direct experience managing technical teams.
• At least 2 years working in life sciences domains (Clinical (R&D) and Commercial).
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to multi‑task under pressure and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Team player with strong ownership of problem resolution.
• Experience across all stages of AI and data solution delivery.

• Building and managing relationships, client trust and value, commercial astuteness.
• Digital fluency and impact communication.
• Experience with Snowflake and Databricks.
• Leadership, mentorship, and professional development skills.
