Position Overview
Our client, an established Managed Services Provider (MSP), is seeking a highly experienced Principal Network Architect to lead the design and implementation of complex enterprise network, security, and cloud solutions.
This is a senior-level, hands‑on technical leadership role requiring deep architectural expertise, strong consulting skills, and the ability to serve as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise clients.
Key ResponsibilitiesArchitect and implement scalable, secure enterprise networking, cloud, and cybersecurity solutions.
Lead complex client projects from architecture and design through successful implementation.
Serve as a senior technical advisor to clients, translating business requirements into effective technology solutions.
Provide hands‑on technical leadership, troubleshoot complex infrastructure challenges, and take ownership of solution outcomes.
Lead technical presentations, architectural reviews, and client consultations.
Mentor engineers and establish architectural standards and best practices.
Collaborate with engineering, project management, and sales teams on solution delivery, technical proposals, and new business opportunities.
Required Qualifications15+ years of network architecture and design experience
, including 5+ years in a senior or technical leadership role
.
Proven experience in a professional services, consulting, or MSP environment
.
Advanced, hands‑on expertise with:
Cisco Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and Cisco Nexus
VMware NSX
Microsoft Azure and AWS
Extensive experience designing and implementing large-scale, complex enterprise infrastructure solutions.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Exceptional client‑facing communication, consulting, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.
Preferred QualificationsMicrosoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
Ideal Candidate: A CCIE-certified, hands‑on Principal Architect with deep Cisco networking, cloud, and security expertise who can lead complex client engagements, advise executive stakeholders, and deliver sophisticated enterprise solutions.
