Business Systems Analyst IV

Kforce has a client seeking a remote experienced Technical Business Systems Analyst IV to support enterprise Data Engineering initiatives. This role serves as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business requirements into actionable technical specifications that support data integration, reporting, analytics, and governance efforts. The ideal candidate combines strong business analysis skills with a solid understanding of modern data platforms, cloud technologies, and system integrations.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements
• Translate business needs into detailed specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation
• Develop and maintain process flows, data flow diagrams, workflow models, and current/future state analyses
• Document business rules governing data ingestion, transformation, validation, and reporting processes
• Serve as the liaison between business users, developers, architects, and quality assurance teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Facilitate requirements discussions, workshops, and stakeholder reviews
• Support system integration initiatives by documenting data movement, dependencies, and interface requirements
• Assist with test planning, test case reviews, defect triage, and user acceptance testing activities
• Create and maintain traceability matrices and project documentation to ensure requirements are validated and delivered
• Document data lifecycle processes and data packaging methodologies to support governance and operational standards
• Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes
