Trusts & Estates Associate Attorney

Overview

Trueline’s client, a highly regarded boutique trust & estates firm in Boca Raton, FL, is seeking a Trusts & Estates Associate Attorney (3–8 years) to join their growing team. This role offers early responsibility, deep client exposure, and the chance to build sophisticated planning experience.

• Lead estate and trust planning engagements and administration matters from start to finish
• Draft, review, and manage complex estate, gift, and fiduciary tax returns
• Develop and implement customized planning strategies for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families, and entrepreneurs
• Communicate directly with clients, execute plan implementation, and supervise support staff
• Coordinate with tax, accounting, and other advisors to deliver seamless client service

• 3 to 8 years of experience in estate, trust, and fiduciary planning and administration
• Solid knowledge of estate, gift, and fiduciary tax laws and regulations
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Comfort in interacting with high-net-worth clients and managing substantive client work early
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• JD and bar admission in Florida

• LL.M. in Taxation, Estate Planning, or related advanced degree
• Experience with advanced planning techniques (e.g., GRATs, CLATs, family limited partnerships, intangible planning)
• Exposure to multi-state or international estate and tax planning
• Familiarity with estate planning software or systems
