Real Estate Closing & Title Processor

Boca Raton, FL

Summary:

Well-established & growing law firm located in Boca Raton, Florida currently seeks qualified Real Estate Closing & Title Processor.

Our office comprises 3 Attorneys, 1 Paralegal and 2 Assistants all of whom focus solely on the practice of real estate transactions, client representation, title work and closings. For over two decades we have created a practice that caters to the varying needs of our clients and further supports the needs of sellers, buyers, borrowers, real estate brokers and agents, lenders, loan officers and closing agents who rely on our professionalism and expertise.

We are a collaborative office that embraces a familial feel, and we genuinely pride ourselves on creating a supportive workplace environment.

Employment type:

Full-time, 100% in-office Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm.

Job responsibilities
  • Opening new files for contract and title processing, ordering, and reviewing title documents, resolving title issues, preparing title commitments and title policies, preparing closing documents (e.g. Settlement Statements, Closing Disclosures, Seller and Buyer documents, Title Curing Instruments, Affidavits, etc.).
  • Processing lender instructions and further coordinating & organizing loan documents for closing.
  • Balancing closing figures for CD preparation with Lenders.
  • Preparing wires and checks for funding.
  • Electronically recording documents in public records.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience preparing Residential and/or Commercial Real Estate contract purchases, sales and/or loan transactions for closing.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word REQUIRED.
  • Landtech closing & processing software experience preferred (not required).
