Construction Litigation Attorney
We’re seeking an experienced Construction Litigation Attorney to join our Florida team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of construction law, complex commercial disputes, and claims involving contractors, developers, and design professionals. This role requires a confident litigator with strong courtroom experience, exceptional writing skills, and a demonstrated ability to manage high-stakes cases from inception through trial.
Responsibilities- Handle all aspects of construction litigation, including contract disputes, defect claims, lien enforcement, delay claims, and insurance coverage issues.
- Represent clients in state and federal courts, arbitrations, mediations, and administrative proceedings.
- Draft pleadings, discovery, dispositive motions, and trial briefs with precision and strategic insight.
- Conduct depositions, manage expert witnesses, and prepare comprehensive case evaluations.
- Collaborate closely with clients to develop litigation strategies aligned with business goals and risk tolerance.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of Florida construction law, lien law, and applicable statutes and regulations.
- JD from an accredited law school.
- Active member of the Florida Bar in good standing.
- Board Certified in Construction Law by The Florida Bar.
- Minimum of 5 years of construction litigation experience.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and courtroom skills.
- Ability to manage multiple complex matters simultaneously with minimal supervision.
