Gilbane is seeking a Senior Project Manager to serve as the on‑site Gilbane manager, responsible for the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of a large or complex construction project, or multiple small projects. This role will sit primarily on the job site, with occasional travel to the office for trainings, meetings, etc.

You will protect and promote the interests of both Gilbane and the client in all matters as well as demonstrating the personal characteristics of a developing leader.
- Develop and implement the project safety plan with corporate safety and provide jobsite leadership.
- Develop the project controls and procedures to manage complex project requirements; take ownership to mitigate high‑risk items for contract requirements.
- Manage project financial forecast, notice provisions and billings to meet contract requirements; take corrective actions to address deviations noted in project vitals.
- Create and manage a project‑specific quality plan aligned with the Owner contract and contract documents and assist with execution.
- Create and manage a closeout plan in alignment with the contract documents and assist with execution.
- Provide leadership in motivating the project team and maintain a positive work environment. This shall include direct supervision of work, project administration, project superintendents and engineers to establish operational priorities.
- Develop the subcontracting strategy; review and write scopes and other deliverables to ensure the integrity of the buyout process.
- Implement and enforce all aspects of contracts; create and lead risk mitigation plan; prepare draft contracts, agreements and purchase orders.
