District Shift Leader

Location:

• Perform management duties at a home location and support other bakeries in the market as needed.
• Travel to gain independence and learn from additional leaders in the area.
• Lead to the General Manager standard in the absence of the GM.
• Lead by example as a brand ambassador; provide ongoing coaching and training for teams.
• Work across multiple roles each shift to ensure high-quality food and beverages and maintain a safe, clean store environment.

The GM development plan includes training in restaurant administrative duties such as inventory tracking, vendor orders, and cash management. You will learn skills toward a GM role, including P&L analysis, achieving food cost and labor targets, scheduling, and recruiting.

• Expected to fill in for General Managers at other locations within the market
• Expected to accept a permanent General Manager promotion within the market when available
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience preferred
• Ability to work varied hours including early hours and weekends (as early as 3am)
• Must pass background check and possess a current, valid driver’s license
• Must complete Bagel Brands Serv Safe Certification program by the end of the GM development plan if not already certified
• Tip eligibility subject to state regulations
