Graphics & Creative Design Intern; Federal -Study

Your primary mission is to translate complex scientific concepts into visually stunning, digestible marketing collateral.

Duties include:

• Promotional Asset Creation:
  Design professional marketing collateral, digital brochures, infographics, and non-confidential technology briefs used to promote FAU inventions to global corporations.
• Social Media & Digital Content:
  Produce engaging, high-quality graphic assets for social media campaigns, newsletters, and web platforms.
• Investor Pitch Decks:
  Collaborate with startup founders and marketing teams to design cohesive presentation decks for investment pitches.
• Brand Development:
  Maintain visual identity and brand consistency across all print
  and digital touchpoints for OTD and emerging spin-out startups.
• Operational Design Support:
  Provide layout assistance, template designs, and vector graphic assets as needed for office-wide projects.

Are you a visual storyteller looking to build a high-impact portfolio of professional, corporate-facing designs? This is your launchpad. We are seeking ambitious Undergraduate's and Graduate students for a collaborative, team-based design internship for the full academic year.

You will be assigned to design projects supporting our commercialization teams. Instead of basic layouts, you will design the visuals that promote cutting-edge inventions (such as AI, biotechnology, and autonomous vehicles) to corporations, government entities, venture capital investors, and others who may license, fund, invest in, or partner with our researchers. This hybrid role balances collaborative team sessions with independent design ownership, offering an unparalleled resume-building experience.

• Have access to design tools such as the full Adobe Creative Design suite.
• The Adams Center for Entrepreneurship:

• Academic & Program Eligibility:
  Enrolled FAU undergraduate or graduate student. Must have a confirmed Federal Work-Study (FWS) award for the  year.
• Creative Software Proficiency:
  Hands-on experience using Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint).

  Skills:
  
  Ability to digest technical or complex scientific concepts and restructure them into a clean, modern, and professional layout.
• Collaboration & Communication:
  Written and visual communication skills, with a collaborative spirit when working inside multidisciplinary student teams.
• Project Ownership:
  Highly organized and capable of managing graphic production timelines, meeting strict deadlines, and implementing feedback constructively.

• Enterprise Experience for Your Resume:
  Most student design jobs are limited to basic campus flyers. This role puts Corporate B2B Design, Pitch Deck Engineering, and High Tech Brand Development directly on your resume. Flexible & Hybrid:
  This position offers a flexible schedule that respects your classes, combining remote lead generation with high-energy, in-person strategy sessions on the Boca Raton campus (other campuses can be considered).
