Overview
Registered Nurse Cardiac Cath Full Time Days at Tenet Healthcare in Boca Raton, FL. Responsible for maintaining optimum care of geriatric, adult, adolescent, and pediatric patients in the Imaging Department. Serves as a clinical resource for the Imaging Department, assists in scheduling interventional procedures, and acts as a liaison between nursing staff and the Imaging Department.
Responsibilities- Maintain optimum patient care in the Imaging Department for diverse age groups.
- Serve as a clinical resource for the Imaging Department.
- Assist in scheduling interventional procedures and liaise between nursing staff and Imaging.
- Assist with quality improvement monitoring, problem identification, remedial action, and reporting.
- Demonstrate competencies related to the use of moderate sedation.
- Demonstrate competencies with Phase I and Phase II recovery.
- Review orders and test results and document care delivered accurately and timely in the electronic health record.
- Minimum:
Graduate from an RN program;
Florida RN License;
American Heart Association ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications. - Preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree; 2 years of Critical Care and/or Emergency Department care experience. - Other:
Management of potential complications and medical emergencies.
