Healthy Pets Veterinary Care is a full‑service hospital located in the Polo Club Shoppes, Boca Raton, FL. The facility offers surgery, dental care, grooming, laser therapy, acupuncture, vaccines, wellness plans, advanced in‑house laboratory, digital X‑rays, and dental X‑rays.
Position Purpose
Externs participate in clinical activities, receive preceptor guidance, and complete required documentation. Heartland will cover lodging costs when needed, and the externship length is flexible. The goal is to provide first‑hand exposure to a well‑structured practice.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an AVMA‑accredited veterinary school.
- Must be able to provide a student PLIT (Patient/Location Information Tracking).
