Hiring a Quality Engineer to work with a Manufacturing company located in the Boca Raton area.

Direct Hire – full time

$100,000 a year salary plus benefits and bonus.

Morning Shift – 9:00am to 6:00pm.

• Implement programs to ensure conformity of purchased material and final products meet company’s quality standards.
• Incorporate statistical control programs and report quality performance trends to the management team, including major issues that could affect business performance.
• Perform KPI monthly reports.
• Meet with vendors, customers, quality representatives, and company personnel to discuss and resolve quality problems as required.
• Prepare and analyze quarterly on‑time customer delivery analysis reports.
• Prepare and analyze quarterly on‑time supplier delivery analysis reports.
• Prepare all necessary reports as required by customers for nonconformance documentation, including root cause analysis, 5 Why, and Fishbone diagrams.
• Initiate and close the resolution of all customer corrective actions.
• Initiate and close the resolution of all non‑conformance material received.
• Maintain or upgrade organizational certifications (e.g., ISO 9000, AS9120 Rev
  
  D).
• Manage the quality system in accordance with AS9120 and AS9100.
• Ensure customer and supplier quality requirements are achieved.
• Effectively manage the quality department’s resources.
• Motivate, train, and develop quality personnel.
• Ensure all inspection equipment is calibrated and in working condition in a manufacturing setting.
• Supervise the integrity of the calibration system.
• Inspect completed parts and assemblies, verify documentation, route material to the next operation or rejection, and prepare rejection reports.
• Perform AS9102 First Article Inspections.
• Promote and develop continuous improvement techniques.
• Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
• Lead and perform monthly internal audits to ensure compliance of the internal QMS.

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in the Quality Assurance field.
• Minimum of 10 years of supervisory/manager experience.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• ASQ Certified Manager of Quality and Organizational Excellence.
• Significant knowledge and experience with ISO and AS9100 or AS9120 systems.
• Aerospace and/or military hardware knowledge.
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Understanding of Federal Aviation Administration policies and procedures.
• Extremely detail oriented.
