Sr. Property Manager

Overview

A growing real estate firm is seeking a Senior Property Manager with strong accounting and financial reporting experience. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys combining operational property management with hands-on financial oversight. The position supports daily operations across a commercial real estate portfolio while owning key accounting functions.

• Property Management:
  Manage day-to-day operations, tenant communication, service requests, and lease administration
• Review new leases and renewals in Yardi
• Lead vendor communication, negotiate contracts, and oversee project management
• Track project costs and budgets, complete construction draws, and assist with funding requests
• Maintain project schedules and ensure timely, on-budget completion
• Support improvement and implementation of property management processes
• Assist with monthly financial reporting packages
• Prepare monthly accruals and handle A/P processing
• Lead annual budgeting and CAM reconciliations
• Perform variance analysis and support audits or special financial projects
• Ensure data accuracy in all property management systems

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
• 6+ years in property management or real estate accounting preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial statements, and accrual accounting
• Experience with Yardi or similar property management software
• Proficient in Excel and accounting systems
