Responsibilities
Food Preparation & Assembly Prepare and portion salad ingredients including greens, vegetables, dressings, toppings, and proteins. Follow standardized recipes. Maintain the pantry station, ensuring all ingredients, garnishes, and tools are stocked and ready for service. Follow recipe specifications to maintain consistent taste, portion size, and presentation.
Station Management Set up and break down the pantry, salad, and appetizer stations each shift. Ensure all cold and hot holding equipment is functioning properly. Label, date, and rotate food items following FIFO procedures.
Quality & Safety Maintain strict cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations. Follow safe food‑handling practices, including proper temperature control.
QualificationsPrevious pantry, prep cook, or kitchen experience preferred. Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment. Knowledge of basic kitchen equipment and knife skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality. Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
