Sous Chef

Woodfield Boca Raton is seeking an experienced Sous Chef for our state‑of‑the‑art dining outlets. Our resort offers five dining venues, each with a varied and unique dining experience to suit our members ranging from casual poolside bites to elaborate buffets and elegant dinners.

• Prepares or directly supervises the daily preparation of all food items.
• Responsible for the food production in all outlets of the club.
• Consistently maintains standards of quality, cost, eye appeal and flavor of foods.
• Creates menu specification with the Executive Chef.
• Tastes all food items prepared prior to serving.
• Creates “Specials”.
• Creates new items for buffet and a la carte.
• Plans weekly production lists.
• Ensures all employees are following their schedules.
• Communicates with the Chef on any club member feedback.
• Ensures that all cooks are trained and understand our standards when working any type of station.
• Ensures all food products received are of the highest quality

• Ensures that all employees follow checklists for their areas.
• Ensures all employees are following the highest sanitation standards.
• Ensure that the receiving department is accepting only the highest quality

• Culinary Degree preferred
• Prior experience as a la carte Chef, required
• Strong kitchen management and Front of House experience
• Experience in a high volume, high quality hotel or high-end restaurant environment
• Excellent communication skills
