Prep Cook – Role Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate prep cook to join our culinary team at Acts Retirement-Life Communities. Our kitchen philosophy is “passion, excitement and fun” and we serve fresh, healthy options along with indulgent favorites.

• Prepare food items for meal service following established recipes and portion control guidelines.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organized kitchen and adhere to food safety standards.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to support menu prep and seasonal trends.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of progressive responsibility in a full‑service restaurant, catering, healthcare, country club/hotel, or cruise line environment is helpful.
• Strong teamwork, communication and a willingness to learn.
