Shift leader, Restaurant​/Food Service

Insomnia Cookies is one of the fastest growing late‑night indulgence companies in the country, and we are actively interviewing Shift Leaders for our brand‑new Boca Raton, FL location at 1799 NW 2nd Ave.

As a Shift Leader, you are the captain of our bakery day or night. You predict the flow of business during a successful shift and lead the team with a hands‑on leadership style that includes building orders, suggestive selling, baking, and interacting with customers.

• Provide excellent customer service and quality products to all guests
• Support store leadership and maintain operations during your shift
• Communicate pertinent information, monitor production efficiency, and hold the team accountable to company standards
• Prioritize and delegate tasks for baking, cashiering, packaging, and cleaning while leading the cookie crew team
• Provide a safe, clean working environment for guests and staff and adhere to safe food‑handling practices
• Manage cash handling and deposits

• At least 1 year of customer service experience
• Experience with Point of Sale systems
• Outstanding communication, time‑management, and people skills
• Outgoing, friendly, patient demeanor
  
  Detail‑focused and results‑oriented
• Ability to lead by example and motivate others
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Legal eligibility to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older for employment
