Joseph’s customers have a difficult time resisting our Bakery Department when they visit our stores! The Bakery Associates play a key role in merchandising all of our baked goods that delight our customers. From fresh baked bread, cakes and pastries, to premier customer service, Joseph’s Bakery Departments are second to none.

• Provide excellent customer service by offering product knowledge, answering questions, and making personalized suggestions
• Maintain product freshness through regular rotation and quality checks
• Restock and rotate displays to ensure visual appeal and freshness
• Take and fulfill custom/special orders from customers
• Accurately package, label, and price self-service items
• Operate bakery equipment safely, including ovens, knives, bread slicers, scales, and other Bakery equipment
• Assist with other tasks as assigned

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Prior bakery or food preparation experience preferred
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic math and reading skills
• Strong attention to detail and visual presentation
• Team player with a positive, service-oriented attitude
• A passion for serving people

A Bakery Associate performs their tasks primarily in the Bakery Department. Work involves walking, standing for prolonged periods, and lifting products weighing up to 50 pounds. Work also includes frequent interaction with customers and fellow employees.
