Overview

This role involves building lasting client relationships, uncovering high‑impact IT & Security solutions, and driving revenue in a fast‑evolving market across the U.S. (West, Midwest, Central, Texas, and Northeast). The role is fully virtual, full‑time, and requires residence within roughly 30 miles of a major airport to support travel.
YourImpact
- Utilize technical and sales expertise to prospect and grow Managed IT services revenue.
- Engage C‑level prospects, understand their IT needs, and identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with the broader sales team to maximize outreach and leverage existing client relationships.
- Partner with Solutions Architects to craft tailored technical responses, proposals, and presentations that highlight Canon’s Managed IT capabilities.
- Deliver compelling presentations and proposals, tailoring offerings to address client pain points.
- Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date sales records and reports within the CRM.
- Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with existing clients to foster loyalty and repeat business.
The Skills & Expertise You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience; minimum 5 years of related experience.
- Education/experience in engineering, information systems, business administration, or a related discipline.
- Three or more years in IT sales or consulting; experience with Managed IT Services or Managed Security Services is an asset.
- Regular travel to customer sites (valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required).
- Occasionally attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to generate new prospects.
- Overall knowledge of IT systems and technologies (servers, storage, public cloud, networking, VoIP, security solutions, etc.).
Salary range: $92,210 – $138,080 annually. Eligible for commission under the applicable plan.
