The Senior Manager, Analytical Development will support the development of analytical methods and lead a team of analytical development scientists. The role involves directing day‑to‑day operations, planning future projects, ensuring compliance with cGMP, and managing validation, development, and qualification studies.

• Lead and direct the work of analytical development scientists.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the analytical development team.
• Plan and schedule projects, including budget and timelines, and ensure timelines are met.
• Serve as a process and scientific subject‑matter expert.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP processes, training, and procedures.
• Respond to internal and external audit reports.
• Direct validation, development, and qualification studies and reports.

• Strong leadership and staff‑management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
• Excellent critical‑thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficiency in preparing spreadsheets, data analysis, and presentations for both small and large groups.
• Demonstrated experience in experimental design, process improvement, and data interpretation.

• Master’s degree or PhD in biochemistry, chemical engineering, biophysics, biology, or a related discipline.
• Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of process development experience is acceptable in lieu of an advanced degree.

• 10+ years of experience developing protein purification processes.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a GMP environment.

• Protein biochemistry and immunoglobulin chemistry.
• Assay development and validation.
• GMP method development and validation.
• Technical transfer of methods.
