As a Security Officer - Armed Residential Patrols Full-Time in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a residential location, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential community and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor access points and verify the credentials of individuals entering the location to help to maintain a secure environment.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and communicate any security-related concerns to management and/or appropriate authorities.
• Adhere to all Allied Universal policies, procedures, and training requirements, including those specific to armed patrol posts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must have 5 or more years of security-related experience.
• Applicants must have 1 or more years of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
