Security Guard - Armed Residential Community in Boca Raton, FL is a Part‑Time Security Officer. You will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer at a residential location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security‑related incidents and provide a reassuring presence.

This armed post involves conducting routine patrols, engaging with residents, and delivering exceptional customer service.

• Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the residential location in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the property and perimeter to help deter security‑related incidents.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
• Document and report security‑related incidents, hazards, and/or unusual occurrences as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders when necessary.
• Remain alert and aware of surroundings while performing patrols and other assigned duties within the residential location.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thursday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sunday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Have at least 6 months of experience in armed security‑related, law enforcement, or military roles.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
