Woodfield Country Club in Boca Raton is seeking a Group Fitness Manager responsible for assisting our Director with operational support of our busy and comprehensive wellness center. The Group Fitness Manager will oversee and manage our vibrant group exercise program, source, place, train, and evaluate group exercise instructors, maintain attendance for all classes, make class schedule changes as needed, and manage inventory supplies and all equipment required for classes.

The ideal candidate is expected to create various fitness events and specialty classes throughout the year and conduct at least 10 classes per week.

While prior experience in hospitality, luxury resort, or country club environments is preferred, the ideal candidate must have professional fitness teaching certifications in multiple disciplines including water aerobics, TRX, spinning, yoga, and Pilates. A bachelor’s degree in health sciences or a related field and nationally recognized fitness certifications are required. Experience in the hotel or private club industry is preferred.

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience teaching group exercise classes
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Excellent presentation skills and references
• Strong computer skills are essential
• Must be able to work a variable schedule
• Experience managing group exercise instructors is preferred
• Must be certified in group fitness to teach multiple formats; AFAA and ACE certifications are preferred
• Must have excellent communication, time management, and organization skills
• Must be flexible, able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
