Where will you be working? We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance, and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. Were problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure. This role will be within our clean water team. Safeguarding the quality, reliability, and performance of drinking water across our region.

We work across complex network systems, enhancing, maintaining, installing, and repairing infrastructure from pipes to water meters, to ensure consistently high-water quality. Through proactive network management and resilient engineering, we help ensure communities have safe, dependable water supplies every day. Want to be a part of it? What will you be doing? You'll ensure sites are compliant with company procedures, client expectations, and legislative requirements, with a strong focus on continuous improvement in safety, health, and environmental performance.

Support the consistent implementation of SHE standards, promote CDM regulation awareness, and foster SHE skill development across operational and engineering teams. Including delivering coaching, training, and inductions, supporting project mobilisation, and leading well-being campaigns. Identify training needs, conduct competency assessments, and assist with incident investigations, including root cause analysis and serious case reviews. Through proactive engagement and encourage SHE observation reporting and maintain a visible presence on-site, including out-of-hours visits.

What Youll Bring Understanding of SHE related legislation and related codes of practice and its application in construction. Experience in SHE practices for Utilities, R&M projects and large scale construction projects

Experience of Business Management Systems relevant contract and client procedures Ability to conduct audit, identify and address Non-Conformance, recommend preventative action, develop new initiatives, co-ordinate to ensure their implementation Ability to conduct and inspections. Training (Knowledge) Required NEBOSH Diploma or working towards, Relevant degree or equivalent NVQ level qualification IEMA Certificate in Environmental Management or equivalent ISO Internal auditor 9001 Valid driving license
