HGV Class 2 Driver

HGV Class 2 Driver – West Bromwich People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our client's growing transport operation in West Bromwich and the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced drivers who are looking for stability, great earning potential, and long-term progression. This role would suit applicants who have worked as an LGV Class 2 Driver , Category C Driver , or Lorry Driver .

Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday Start times: 05:00 – 07:00 Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour Benefits:

Your duties as a HGV Class 2 Driver will be:
Safely operate and drive Category C vehicles to and from delivery locations Multi-drop deliveries (maximum 8 drops per day) using an electric pump truck Complete unloading using an electric pump truck Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects to management Adhere to all traffic laws and road safety regulations Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and site staff Essential

Skills:

The skills required to be a HGV Class 2 Driver are:
Valid UK Category C Driving Licence Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no IN, DR, DD, CD codes) Reliable, professional, and punctual Good communication and customer service skills Understanding of road safety and compliance Desirable

Experience:

Previous commercial or multi-drop delivery experience Good customer interaction and service skills Training:
