An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Trust for a Junior Photographer to join our central team, working directly alongside our Marketing and Communications Officer.
Whether you have a relevant qualification in photography/media or simply possess demonstrable basic skills in camera work, lighting, and framing, we want to hear from you!
At St Barnabas Multi Academy Trust, we are committed to nurturing a dynamic and inclusive environment where creativity flourishes. As our Junior Photographer, you will play a hands‑on role in capturing raw photo and video footage across our school sites‑highlighting daily classroom activities, exciting events, and outdoor learning to help tell our story.
This is a full time role working 37 hours per week, term time only. This role is fixed term until 31.08.2027.

On-Location Shooting: Travel across Trust school sites to capture high-quality raw photo and video footage following pre‑agreed briefs.
Equipment & Setup: Safely transport, set up, and dismantle indoor and outdoor studio equipment (lights, backdrops, stands, and props).
Asset Management: Efficiently organise, cull, back up, and upload unedited media files to central cloud storage for final processing.
Safeguarding & Logistics: Work strictly in line with Trust safeguarding and media consent policies while maintaining a warm, professional, and patient manner with pupils and staff.
Technical & Organisational
Skills:
Basic capability operating camera/video equipment with a good understanding of camera settings, framing, and cloud file management.Communication & Teamwork: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to follow clear creative briefs accurately.
Flexibility & Mobility: Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle to travel across multiple Trust sites (mileage expenses reimbursed).
Safeguarding Commitment: A genuine commitment to protecting and safeguarding children and young people.
Qualifications:
GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths (or equivalent). A Level / Level 3 in Photography or Media is desirable.
