As a Boning Hall Packer at our Bodmin Site, you will play a crucial role in our food production process. You will work in our Boning Hall, ensuring the efficient packing of meat products while adhering to strict quality and safety standards. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
The job will suit those with ambition and a drive to progress within the company.
We are specifically looking to develop and train candidates from a packing role into a butchery role developing knife skills and butchery techniques.
Responsibilities
Pack meat products in accordance with specific instructions and proceduresFollow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environmentMonitor the quality of products, identifying and reporting any defects or issuesMaintain cleanliness and organization of work areaCollaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlinesOperate packaging machinery and tools, ensuring proper function and maintenanceAdhere to all company policies and procedures, including food safety protocolsYou will be working Monday to Friday 06:00 am start to Production Finish. The role offers a full-time contract.
Pay starts from £11.94 per hour and can rise up to £14.42 on competency-based assessments.
