Hygiene Operative

Location:

Bodmin, Pilgrim’s Europe.

Support the efficient running of the factory by cleaning machines, equipment and PPE to required standards and time frames. Work in conjunction with the Senior Supervisor and Shift Supervisor.

Competitive hourly rate with potential to earn over £500 per week. Shift pattern: 22:00–06:00, Monday to Friday.

• Undertake all aspects of factory cleaning and disinfection as requested by the Senior Supervisor.
• Ensure required hygiene standards are matched or exceeded.
• Operate and follow health and safety procedures, both in the use of chemicals and when dismantling or reassembling equipment.
• Work with site presentation team members to complete assigned tasks within required time frames, supporting others when tasks are completed.
• Minimise waste from chemicals and cleaning equipment.
• Ensure PPE and consumables are available and ready for use by staff entering production areas.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards.
• Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Awareness of health & safety in a factory environment.
