- Interpret engineering drawings.
- Use hand tools to assemble components.
- Perform soldering and brazing assemblies.
- Work comfortably under a microscope.
- Follow specific manufacturing processes.
- Complete training as part of the apprenticeship.

- Working week: 38 hours per week over four days, Monday to Thursday (07:30–17:30).
- Breaks: two 15‑minute breaks mid‑morning and mid‑afternoon, one 30‑minute lunch break.
- Expected duration: 3years 6months.
- Training provider:
Cornwall College.
