Shop Volunteer (Till & Customer Service - Bodmin)
We are currently looking for Till & Customer Service volunteers to help us in our shop.
If you have a positive outlook, enjoy speaking to new people, and are confident in learning how to use a shop till, then this may be for you.
Typical activities:- Using the shop till to take payment for items
- Promoting Gift Aid to maximise our fundraising potential
- Helping and advising customers
- Undertaking general activities in the shop
A few hours during the week or weekend, as agreed with the shop manager. There is no minimum commitment or fixed hours; we ask that you agree on hours you can attend and let us know if they may change.
Requirements / Qualifications- No previous experience needed; full training will be provided.
- A warm smile and friendly outlook.
- Meet new people and be part of a dynamic, inclusive team.
- Gain or pass on retail experience.
- Great opportunity to use existing skills or gain new ones.
- Reasonable pre‑agreed travel expenses for the role, including training.
