• Experience:
  
  We are looking for candidates with a solid background in commercial construction, preferably with at least 5-10 years of experience in a superintendent role. Convenience store experience is a plus. Project range would be from $3

• Education:
  
  While formal education isn't always a strict requirement for us, candidates with relevant degrees or certifications in construction management, engineering, or a related field can bring valuable knowledge and skills to this role.
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  We are seeking candidates proficient in construction management software, scheduling tools (such as Microsoft Project), and other software used in construction. Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and safety standards is a plus. We use Builder Trend for our project management software
• Leadership/Team Abilities:
  We are looking for individuals who have demonstrated strong leadership skills, including the ability to effectively manage and motivate teams, resolve conflicts, and make strategic decisions under pressure. But are able to work with a team effectively.
• Communication
  
  Skills:
  
  Effective communication is critical for our superintendents, as they need to interact with various stakeholders including clients, subcontractors, and team members. Look for candidates with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem-Solving
  
  Skills:
  
  We are seeking candidates who have a track record of effectively identifying issues, developing solutions, and keeping projects on track within budget and timeline constraints
• Attention to Detail:
  Our superintendents must pay close attention to detail to ensure that projects meet quality standards and comply with specifications. At Black Canyon we pride ourselves on giving our clients top of the line products.
• Safety Consciousness:
  At Black Canyon safety is paramount. We are seeking candidates who prioritize safety and have a strong understanding of OSHA regulations and best practices for maintaining a safe work environment. OSHA 30 is a plus.
• Adaptability and Flexibility:
  We are looking for candidates who are adaptable and flexible, able to adjust plans and strategies as needed to accommodate changing circumstances.
