Job Title: Park Attendant

Salary: $16.96 Hourly (Seasonal: March 6 - November 1, 2026, 20–30 hours a week.)
Responsible for the opening and closing of the admission booth and the daily collection of admission fees at the Boerne City Lake Park, and ensuring park regulations are followed by park patrons.
Key Responsibilities- Collects park admission fees from patrons and ensures the opening and closing of the admission booth daily.
- Monitors Boerne City Lake Park for violations of park rules and regulations or city ordinances.
- Reports city ordinance or park violations to the Boerne Police Department.
- Maintains accountability for cash revenues generated during assigned shift and prepares daily records of receipts and deposits in accordance with city policies.
- Provides information to the public.
- Cleans the admission booth as needed.
- Serves as essential emergency personnel when required.
- Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the position.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Will be required to work holidays.
- Education:
High school graduate or equivalent, plus one year of related experience in areas such as general clerical, cash handling, and customer service. - Knowledge of:
Business English, spelling, and punctuation; effective oral communication skills; good customer service skills; proper cash handling and accounting practices. - Skills/Ability:
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the public; understand and execute oral and written instructions; work independently with minimum supervision. - Safety/
Physical Requirements:
Tasks involve bending, lifting, walking, carrying, and using force equal to lifting 30 lbs.; duties may require long periods of standing, walking, and repetitive tasks. - Certifications & Licenses:
Valid Texas Driver’s License.
