The Clubs of Cordillera Ranch has 4 pools for the exclusive use of members and their guests. Each summer we start the summer season on Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. Here at The Clubs, we love our seasonal help. Work over the summer and long holidays to make some money while you are going to school. With a seasonal job at Cordillera, you don’t have to worry about finding a job each season and quitting a job at the end of each season.

At Cordillera, once you are employed you create a relationship with Management that you can carry through High School, and even College.

Job Duties

Maintains optimal operation quality of water chemistry in club pools. Services and maintains equipment and systems at optimum efficiency levels for multiple outdoor pools at Cordillera Ranch. This includes but is not limited to scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of chemical pumps, chlorinators, filters, skimmers and other related equipment and systems.

Major Responsibilities and Duties
  • Tests water at multiple outdoor pools. Monitors and adjusts treatment systems to maintain optimal water chemistry and system operation.
  • Maintains an accurate inventory of chemicals.
  • Services and maintains equipment / systems at optimum efficiency levels for multiple outdoor pools - includes but not limited to scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of pumps, motors, chlorinators, filters, skimmers, vacuums and related equipment and systems.
  • Maintains, services and tests chlorine injection systems.
  • Performs regular facility inspections.
  • Maintains confidentiality of information.
  • Responsible for properly maintaining district records, adhering to all policies set forth by the district for records maintenance and learning the records retention schedule for department records.
  • Other duties as may be assigned.
Special Knowledge / Skills
  • Knowledge of the operation and maintenance of swimming pools and equipment.
  • Knowledge of hazards and safety precautions applicable to pool maintenance.
  • Knowledge of chemical water treatment systems and pool water testing.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
  • Experience:

    Prior experience in pool maintenance and water treatment is required.
  • Personal cell phone is required to handle district related business, including after hours, or when away from the office on district business.
