Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to support daily operations and maintenance of our facilities. This role ensures that all building systems, equipment, and grounds are well‑maintained, safe, and operational. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, dependable, and capable of working independently while supporting multiple departments as needed.
- Facility & Equipment Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance on all facilities and equipment, conduct daily inspections, support audio‑visual needs, and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, kitchen equipment, refrigeration, ice machines, pool equipment, laundry equipment, and other machinery.
- Grounds & Exterior Maintenance: Blow down exterior areas daily, pressure wash buildings and service areas as required, and clean loading dock weekly or as needed.
- Housekeeping Support: Operate washers and dryers to support linen flow, fold and store clean linens, and assist housekeeping staff when requested.
- Organization & Safety: Maintain accurate maintenance records, keep shop and service areas clean and organized, store tools and supplies securely, and always wear slip‑ and oil‑resistant footwear while following all safety standards.
- Emergency & Team Support: Respond to property emergencies promptly, assist other departments as directed, perform additional duties assigned by the Director of Facilities, and maintain and repair plumbing, electrical, carpentry, kitchen equipment, HVAC, refrigeration, ice machines, and pool pumps. Additionally, maintain tennis court maintenance and other details as assigned.
- Basic working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- Physical ability to perform labor, including lifting and working outdoors.
- Dependable attendance and professional attitude.
- Willingness to respond to emergencies.
- Prior facilities or maintenance experience.
- Trade school training or certifications.
- Experience in hospitality, clubs, or large properties.
