• Processing freight
• Assisting with price changes/markdowns
• Balancing the register according to company policy
• Calling out prices for customers when ringing a transaction
• Bags merchandise efficiently when completing a customer’s transaction
• Handling cash, checks, and credit cards correctly and according to company policy
• Obtaining management approval for returns, voids, and checks
• Maintaining cleanliness and housekeeping duties as assigned
• Providing proper customer service, including greeting customers, abiding by fitting room policies, ringing in customers in a timely manner, thanking customers, and inviting them to return
• Following all safety procedures
• Maintaining a professional, neat appearance, including wearing a name tag
• Assisting management in merchandising the sales floor according to stock level
• Assisting management with tasks requested per company policy
• Explaining exchange/refund policies to customers after transactions
• Assisting Store Manager with Loss Prevention procedures, including preventing shoplifting and cash losses, reporting incidents of theft or dishonesty, and following all current operational policies

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages
