Junior Kitchen Manager; maternity cover

Overview

We're looking for a Junior Kitchen Manager to join the Restaurant & Quick Serve department based in Bognor Regis. This is a fixed term maternity cover role for 12 months. Reporting to the Senior Kitchen Manager, you will support the running of the kitchen and lead a team of up to 10 per shift, ensuring guests remain the central focus of all operational decisions.

• Support running and leadership of the kitchen team, resource planning, recruitment, and selection.
• Monitor guest experience and develop action plans for continuous improvement.
• Deliver food cost budgets through menu planning, cooking to standards, and specification.
• Accountability of food hygiene standards and health and safety, in line with legislation and company policies.
• Support in ensuring adoption of brand standards and operational decisions that keep guests smiling.

• Experience in a similar level kitchen management role.
• Level 3 Food Safety qualification passed.
• Hard working, determined, reliable and able to look for better ways for the team to consistently deliver brand standards.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, high spirited, fun loving, with an understanding of role and value added to guest experience.

This role is based on 40 hours per week, 5 days over 7 with a wide variety of shifts between 7am - 3am, dependant on the restaurant's opening hours.
