Position: Flexi Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative
Infinity Employment are seeking a dedicated and experienced Flexi Forklift Truck Driver / Warehouse Operative to join a busy warehouse team. You will be joining a well-established high-quality electrical company providing products to domestic and commercial customers. Due to their continued growth, they are looking for a reliable and experienced team member. This is a varied role combining Flexi forklift driving with general warehouse duties.

You will play a key part in ensuring goods are received, stored, and dispatched accurately and safely.

This position involves various tasks including loading and unloading containers, order picking and packing, maintaining a clean and organised work environment.

Permanent position - £14 per hour plus overtime

Monday – Friday

Location – Bognor Regis

Duties:

* Operating a Flexi forklift truck safely and efficiently

* Loading and unloading containers, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.

* Picking and packing customer orders accurately

* Stock replenishment and rotation, assisting with stock takes

* Booking goods in and checking delivery notes

* Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment

* Supporting the team with general warehouse duties as required

* Utilise the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory levels and manage stock.

* Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation of all transactions.

* Using scanning devices to log orders

* Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy and report discrepancies as necessary.

* Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment, adhering to health and safety regulations

Qualifications:

* Valid and in-date Flexi forklift licence (essential) min 1-2 years’ experience

* Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred

* Good attention to detail and accuracy

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Strong work ethic and reliable attendance

* Basic IT skills for stock systems (preferred but not essential)

* Experience with using scanners for order picking

* Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is advantageous.

* Good numeracy and literacy skills

* Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) consistently throughout the shift.

* Positive attitude

* Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills.

* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Experience:

* Heavy lifting: 1 year (preferred)

* Warehouse experience: 1 year (required)

* Numeracy: 1 year (required)

* Flexi Forklift Truck Driver / Warehouse Operative min 1 – 2 years
