The Operative, Distribution (W2) performs warehousing and distribution tasks to ensure merchandise flows efficiently through the distribution center. This role executes shipping, receiving, loading, unloading, stacking, picking, packing, and palletizing activities following established procedures. The Distribution Operative works under moderate supervision to support the daily production plan and maintain quality, cost, and delivery objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Distribution Operationsa. Execute daily warehousing tasks including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and loading merchandiseb. Stack, palletize, and organize products according to standard operating procedures
2. Order Fulfillmenta. Pick and pack orders accurately to meet customer requirements and shipment deadlinesb. Load and unload trucks efficiently while ensuring product integrity
3. Inventory Managementa. Maintain accurate inventory records through proper documentation and system updatesb. Participate in cycle counts and physical inventory activities
4. Safety & Qualitya. Follow health and safety procedures and maintain a safe workplaceb. Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures for all distribution activities
5. Equipment Operationa. Operate material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scannersb. Perform basic maintenance checks and report equipment issues
6. Housekeeping & Organizationa. Maintain workplace housekeeping standards and organize work areasb. Support 5S principles and visual management practices
7. Problem Solvinga. Identify and report operational issues or discrepancies to supervisorsb. Apply problem-solving techniques to address routine distribution challenges
8. Impacta. Contribute to team productivity and the completion of daily production plansb. Support quality, cost, and delivery objectives through reliable task execution
