Curriculum Coordinator – Cambridge Curriculum
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Curriculum Coordinator to lead and manage the implementation of the Cambridge Curriculum within our academic institution. This role is essential in ensuring high academic standards, effective teaching practices, and continuous curriculum development. The position may also involve responsibilities as Academic Coordinator and Head of Department (Cambridge Track).
- Lead the planning, development, and implementation of the Cambridge Curriculum in accordance with Cambridge International standards
- Develop and review Scope & Sequence, Scheme of Work, lesson plans, and assessment frameworks
- Coordinate closely with teachers to ensure effective instructional delivery and assessment practices
- Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive academic feedback to teachers
- Support and guide teachers in preparing students for Cambridge assessments (Checkpoint / IGCSE / AS & A Level – based on school level)
- Ensure curriculum alignment with internal academic policies and school vision
- Act as a liaison between the school and external stakeholders (Cambridge International, training providers, etc.)
- Support and plan student participation in National and International Academic Olympiads, including preparation strategies and coordination with relevant teachers.
- Support teacher professional development related to curriculum and pedagogy
- Maximum 40 years old
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field (Master’s Degree is an advantage)
- At least 3–5 years of proven experience working with the Cambridge Curriculum
- Strong understanding of learning objectives and assessment standards
- Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills
- Fluent in English (spoken and written), Arabic (advantage)
- Detail‑oriented, proactive, and able to work collaboratively across teams
- Demonstrated experience in coaching, mentoring, or being directly involved in National or International Academic Olympiads (Preferred)
- Experience handling Cambridge accreditation or academic audits (Preferred)
- Cambridge professional development certifications or official training (Preferred)
- Proven experience in teacher mentoring and coaching (Preferred)
