We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Secondary School History Teacher to deliver dynamic and meaningful lessons on historical events, government systems, civic responsibilities, and democratic values. In this role, you will play a vital part in developing students  critical thinking skills, fostering active engagement with history, and helping them understand the past and its relevance to the present.

• Develop and implement a comprehensive History and Project based learning curriculum aligned with the curriculum standards.
• Foster critical thinking and active citizenship through discussions, debates, and simulations.
• Encourage students to analyze current events and understand their impact on society.
• Promote democratic values, respect for diversity, and ethical decision-making.
• Assess student understanding through various assessment methods, including projects, presentations, and assessments.
• Cultivate a respectful and inclusive classroom environment that values diverse perspectives.

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in History or a closely related discipline.
• At least three (3) years of professional experience in the education sector.
• Demonstrated experience in teaching History using the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is mandatory.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
• Highly organized, committed, and professional in carrying out teaching responsibilities.
• Creative, energetic, and student-centered in instructional approach.
• Possesses strong moral values, integrity, and professional discipline.
• Technologically proficient, with the ability to integrate educational technology into teaching and learning practices.
