About the role

As an Engineering Manager at PT WD Indonesia, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the company's mechanical/electrical engineering operations. In this full‑time position based in Sentul, Bogor, West Java, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers to design, develop, and implement innovative mechanical solutions that support the company's strategic objectives.

• Manage a team of mechanical engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to ensure the successful delivery of projects
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify mechanical engineering requirements and develop effective solutions
• Oversee the design, testing, and implementation of mechanical systems and components
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and the company's quality control processes
• Analyse data, identify trends, and propose process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular progress updates and technical recommendations
• Participate in the development and implementation of the company's engineering strategy

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar engineering management role, preferably within the manufacturing industry
• Proven track record of leading and mentoring teams of mechanical engineers
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and implement creative solutions
• Strong technical expertise in mechanical design, product development, and project management
• Familiarity with industry‑standard design software, such as CAD and simulation tools
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross‑functionally
• Proficient in written and spoken English
