Responsibilities- Work with multi-disciplinary teams to undertake projects related to environmental and social impact assessments, environmental and social due diligence against national laws and international standards, and other standards-compliant environmental studies.
- Recommend, and develop appropriate studies and tools to address study‑specific environmental aspects for a range of projects in the extractive and power sectors.
- Conduct data analysis and present results through reporting, presentations, or other documentation.
- Prepare project work plans, schedules, budgets, technical activities, and coordination of technical staff and sub‑consultants to ensure efficient use of corporate and client resources.
- Implement a robust QA/QC on project outputs to ensure the highest possible standards and ensure project outputs are completed on time, on budget, and to corporate standards and client expectations.
- Graduate degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, natural resources management, biology/forestry, soil science, socio‑economic/cultural, chemistry or a relevant field. An undergraduate degree from a reputable university will be considered depending on applicants.
- Minimum seven years of experience in managing and implementing projects related to development and processing environmental documents under applicable Indonesian regulations in environmental permitting and impact assessment – i.e., analisis mengenai dampak lingkungan AMDAL, UKL-UPL, and ANDAL/RKL-RPL addendums – and international standards – i.e., ESIAs, IEE, ESDDs, ESMS, ESMF, environmental management and mitigation, and other services – preferably in a consulting environment and with a demonstrable track record of increasing responsibilities.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively and independently manage the full AMDAL permitting process, including OSS and Amdal Net submission, Environmental Feasibility Approval (SKKL), and facilitation of FGDs and technical meetings with the Ministry of Environment (MoE/KLH); PKKPR/L processes prior to AMDAL preparation, including coordination with relevant spatial planning authorities.
- Proven experience delivering PERTEK studies and securing regulatory approvals, including wastewater discharge permits, air emission permits, and hazardous waste (Limbah B3) management approvals.
- Experience working on strategic sectors, e.g., mining / oil and gas / power / infrastructure / renewable energy in major regions in Indonesia:
