Exemplary is seeking experienced Investment Banking, Private Equity, and Hedge Fund experts for a research project with a leading frontier AI lab. This remote, part‑time and fully asynchronous role is ideal for IB/PE professionals with at least 2 years of experience at top firms, with extensive, on‑desk deal experience and a proven track record in financial modelling.

Pay is competitive and varies depending on experience and modelling ability. Candidates can expect effective hourly rates in the $100 to $150 range.

Successful applicants will design and build complex financial models to train and assess frontier AI model capabilities in financial modelling tasks. Top performers will be offered the opportunity to review submitted work for bonus compensation, and will be more likely to be selected for further paid collaboration.

Selected candidates will be asked to complete a paid modelling test (90 minutes max, $250 for passing) and, if successful, pass a 10 minute behavioral interview covering prior experience.

Experts will be compensated via Stripe Connect per submitted and reviewed financial model. Workers are classified as part‑time, “at‑will” independent contractors.

Education Requirements: Undergraduate degree from a recognised university.
