SAP Functional Supervisor

Role Overview

Role:
The SAP Functional Consultant will be responsible for the design, configuration, implementation, and ongoing support of our SAP ERP environment. You will act as the bridge between the business units (Logistics, Sales, Finance, or Production) and the technical team to ensure our SAP system optimizes supply chain efficiency, manages high-volume transactions, and provides real‑time data accuracy essential for the FMCG sector.

• Partner with stakeholders to analyze current business processes and recommend SAP best practice improvements.
• Perform hands‑on functional configuration in your primary module(s) and manage integration points with other SAP modules.
• Translate complex business requirements into detailed functional specifications for the ABAP development team.
• Lead or participate in SAP rollouts, upgrades, and the implementation of new functionalities.
• Provide support for end‑users, resolving tickets related to master data, transactional errors, and system bugs.
• Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and conduct training sessions to ensure high system adoption.

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or Business Administration.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on SAP functional experience.
• Module expertise: proficiency in at least one (preferably two) of the following:
  Sales & Distribution, Materials Management, Production Planning, Finance and Control.
• SAP certification in a core module.
• Experience with S/4
  
  HANA migrations is highly preferred.
• Understanding of the FMCG industry.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex data discrepancies in a high‑pressure environment.
• Excellent ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical business leaders.
• Comfortable working in an environment with frequent shifts in consumer demand and supply chain variables.
