Demand Planner Manager (Food and Beverage)
Develop and maintain rolling demand forecasts (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual) for all channels, stores, categories and products.
Analyze historical sales trends and its drivers, including seasonality, promotions effect, new store openings and market dynamics to maximize stock availability and sales.
Establish demand planning models and forecasting methodologies.
Monitor and evaluate forecast performance and implement corrective actions to continuously improve forecast accuracy.
Prepare demand scenarios and business assumptions for decision-making.
Identify supply-demand gaps and recommend mitigation plans.
Align and coordinate sales forecasts with production and purchase plan.
Ensure production schedule from PPIC meets sales needs and demand.
Collaborate with various sales department to optimize on-shelf availability and minimize bad stock.
Monitor production constraints and propose contingency plans during capacity limitations.
Inventory Optimization
Define inventory policies including safety stock, reorder points, and inventory coverage targets at retail and distributor point level.
Balance product availability with inventory carrying costs.
Monitor stock levels across retail store and distributors.
Drive initiatives to reduce obsolete, slow-moving, and expired inventory.
Budgeting
Develop annual forecast for budgeting purpose as well as performing evaluation and adjustment on the forecast.
Data Analytics & Reporting
Develop dashboards and KPI monitoring systems for demand planning performance.
- Leverage data analytics tools to improve planning accuracy and visibility.
Process Improvement & Governance
Establish standardized demand planning processes across regions and business units.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning efficiency.
Drive digitalization and automation projects related to demand forecasting.
Ensure compliance with inventory and planning governance standards.
QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Statistics, Business Administration, or related field
7–10 years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain Planning, Inventory Management
Minimum 5 years in a managerial position within F&B Retail, bakery or fresh groceries
Strong track record in developing demand forecasting models and driving forecast accuracy improvements
Strong knowledge of inventory control parameters, including safety stock, reorder points, and inventory coverage planning.
Experience using ERP and planning systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, or similar platforms.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, and forecasting models.
