Production Factory Manager - PT ALFA

Responsibilities

Operational Leadership:
Manage daily factory operations including production, planning, maintenance, and quality control to achieve output and delivery targets.

Production Planning:
Develop and execute production schedules aligned with customer orders, inventory levels, and material availability.

Welding & Fabrication Oversight:
Supervise and ensure proper welding procedures (SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, SAW) for pipe and valve fabrication are followed according to standards (ASME, API, AWS).

Process Improvement:
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity, reduce downtime, and enhance quality using Lean or Kaizen methodologies.

Quality Assurance:
Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards (ISO 9001, API 5L, API 6D, or equivalent). Collaborate with QA/QC teams for inspections, testing, and documentation.

People Management:
Lead, mentor, and develop production supervisors, engineers, and operators to maintain a motivated and skilled workforce.

Safety & Compliance:
Enforce HSE standards and ensure the factory complies with Indonesian safety and environmental regulations.

Budget & Cost Management:
Manage production budgets, control operational costs, and optimize resource utilization.

Coordination & Reporting:
Work closely with Procurement, Engineering, and Logistics departments; report KPIs and production performance to senior management.

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 8–10 years of experience in manufacturing management, preferably in steel pipe, valve, or heavy metal fabrication industries

Strong technical knowledge of pipe welding processes (SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, SAW) and fabrication techniques.

Hands‑on experience managing pipe forming, welding, heat treatment, and testing operations
.

Proven leadership and problem‑solving skills in a factory environment.

Strong understanding of 6A standards and applications.

Familiarity with ISO, API, ASME manufacturing standards and quality systems.

Proficient in using ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia
, with working knowledge of English preferred.
