Procurement Assistant Manager - Steel​/Metal B

Our client is a Steel/Metal Manufacture (Pre-stressed Concrete Materials (PC Products), Spring Wire, Bead Wire, Oil Tempered Wire) Company
. Currently, they are looking for Procurement Assistant Manager.

• Lead the end-to-end procurement of primary raw materials for wire.
• Translate product-specific material specs into clear purchase requirements.
• Build and manage a reliable, risk-balanced supplier base through qualification, negotiation, and ongoing performance management.
• Work closely with Plant Managers, Process Engineers, and QA teams on material requirements, incoming quality, and non-conformance resolution.
• Align procurement planning with production schedules to maintain optimal inventory levels and prevent supply disruptions.
• Drive cost reduction through strategic sourcing, value engineering, and competitive bidding.
• Ensure full compliance with company procurement policies, import/export regulations, and audit documentation requirements.

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience as a Procurement Manager within the steel wire or automotive manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience in production processes or process engineering before transitioning into a procurement role.
• Business English proficiency.
• Strong working knowledge of steel wire manufacturing processes and familiarity with the mechanical and metallurgical properties of steel wire products.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a procurement team and manage cross-functional relationships with engineering, production, quality, and finance stakeholders.
