Research and Development Manager

• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in food technology research and development, product development or nutrition, preferably within a fast‑paced, innovative environment.
• Advanced degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, Nutritionist or a related scientific field.
• Proven track record of leading successful new product development and commercialisation efforts.
• Exceptional technical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights.
• Strong project management and team leadership skills, with demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in liaising with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Thorough understanding of food safety regulations, quality control, and industry best practices.

• Oversee and direct the R&D team in the development of new food products, processes, and technologies.
• Identify and evaluate emerging trends, technologies, and scientific advancements in the food industry.
• Develop and implement robust research protocols to test and validate new product ideas and enhancements.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Branding, Marketing, Operations, and OEM teams to ensure seamless product development and launch.
• Find and build relationships with OEM (Makloon) or factory to produce new products.
• Stay abreast of relevant regulations and safety standards, ensuring all R&D activities adhere to industry best practices.
• Mentor and develop the R&D team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership, contributing to the strategic direction of the company.
• Conduct research on product development and launch, from product knowledge and ingredients to organising campaigns.
