Environmental Project Manager
Support and manage environmental remediation projects under the NYC Brownfield Cleanup Program (BCP) and New York State Clean Up Act. Conduct and oversee Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs). Prepare and review technical reports, including Remedial Action Work Plans (RAWP), Site Management Plans (SMP), Investigation Work Plans, and associated regulatory submittals. Coordinate with regulatory agencies, including NYSDEC and NYC OER.
Manage project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, and cost tracking. Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing updates, managing expectations, and maintaining strong client relationships. Oversee subcontractors, field staff, and sampling programs. Ensure project compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards. Support proposal writing, scope development, and project planning efforts.

- 5+ years of experience supporting Brownfield Clean Up Program projects and New York State Clean Up Act initiatives.
- Proficiency in conducting Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments.
- Strong skills in environmental compliance and remediation.
- Excellent report writing, financial budgeting, and client management skills.
- Experience in construction and environmental monitoring.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience coordinating with regulatory agencies such as NYSDEC and NYC OER.
This is an office-based role with hybrid flexibility, involving approximately 10% travel to sites in NYC. Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $80,000.00 – $ per year. Hybrid work flexibility (office/field/remote). Opportunity to support high‑visibility NYC redevelopment projects.
